Hi there! I’m finally back at my normal job for now, off restrictions from my injury. I’m glad to be back performing and working with the people I know! More importantly, no more almost daily trips to physical therapy, chiropractor, or doctor after work means I finally get more time for photos! I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving, I did! While I wasn’t able to go see my family back in North Carolina, I got to spend time with friends and family here and definitely had plenty of turkey to eat! As much as I do love Thanksgiving, my favorite time of year is now in full swing. Last Christmas was a little difficult for personal reasons, so I didn’t really get into the holiday spirit as much as I have in the past. But this past year I have learned that faith in the world can be restored, if you are around the right people and allow yourself to let go of all the people and things that have hurt you and focus on the present. Find a new angle to look at things, focus on what helps and leave out what doesn’t. I am so thankful for the people (and my dog of course) who have helped me come through a very hard time. It has been a new beginning, and I’m looking forward to continuing some old and starting new traditions this holiday season!!
I love to look at Christmas lights. I remember driving all around town with my parents and siblings growing up, just to see them. I got a chance to go see the Osborne Lights at Hollywood Studios with my wonderful boyfriend and his family last week. Here are a few photos of the sign, more of the lights to come!
For these below I was playing around with changing the zoom during a long exposure. I think the result is very fun, and gives an interesting twist to what you normally see!
